On the Needles and no End in Sight

This is a handpainted Merino shawl that I started 3.5 months ago. Little did I know that the garter stitch pattern would bore me to tear. The yarn is really soft, though and I expect that once it's done, it will be a pleasure so wear. Later. Much later. Posted by Picasa

I could see geting bored to tears, but it seems like you have multiple projects going so at least you can switch off. Right now I have two scarves going, same pattern! Luckily I like the rhythm of the pattern. Need to start Leigh's sweater.

The yarn is beautiful! I have a super-long scarf hiding in my closet with the same problem... its been waiting for 4 months to have the last two feet put on it.

Yes bored to tears, I get it, but....the soft yarn does kind of make up for it and the color.

The soft yarn definately makes up for a lot, but this thing with triangular shawls...how they just get bigger, the rows get longer. I'm not sure this is my kinda project. I say this of course just after buying the book, Folk Shawls. Okay, I'll made the rectangular kind, I guess
