My first Tweed

So, the twist hasn't been set yet but I just wanted to post it 'cause I'm loving it so much. It's teaching me how to take a blended fleece and make sure all the colors have their rightful place in the texture of the whole. I'm ending up with some extra blobs of white silk that I'm holding aside.

Gosh, wasn't Sunday fun! Looks like you finally made best friends with the new wheel; those skeins are BEAUTIFUL! If you don't have room to store them, they can come live in my stash. ;)

I second Bobbie, especially on that lovely parrot yarn. ;) Though you know, it'd sure go well with that turquoise necklace you were wearing Sunday... (Although ghu knows what you'd use it for, precisely, considering necklaces and scarves together could be problematic, LOL.) Looks like you're doing good with the wheel. Congratulations! Great shot of everyone in the restaurant before the meetup. And ooohh, that Faux Russian Stole - to die for, and I don't even wear stoles or shawls. Simply gorgeous.

Your yarns are really gorgeous. It's tempting me to go over to 'that' side. I refuse to call it the 'dark' one.

Natalie, it is NOT the dark side.
Okay, it is a little bit of a time-suck from knitting and I don't actually find myself knitting with this yarn, but I do give it as gifts to knitters. That may change. I'm spinning something right now I intend to use for a shawl. Let's see how it turns out...
