Yes, folks. It's that time again. A little pat on the back for the author, moi. I'm not known for keeping things like this up for so long. Who knows how long it will last?
So, I know you're thinking:
'Where are all the fiber shots of your fiber booty from OFFF?'
Hmmmm,
'Oh, c'mon. I know you really want to show off (no pun intended).
But, actually I don't! I'm in the inside of the process already and never really had a huge moment of WOW! Look at all this stuff!
So, this weekend, even though the light will probably suck due to rain, I will try and take some photos of what's going on over here in the Fiber Palace. Interestingly enough, right now I've taken to spinning some baby camel/silk from last year that I finally have the confidence to approach. Gonna get more because it's lovely, even if it does fly all over the place. Those luxury yarns...they just have a spirit of their own...

Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival
This was our lovely group, thanks to Bobbie who came early and got us all set up for the day. The weather was perfect and we came and went from this spot and it was our little home for the day. I swear, the whole thing was just heaven. I really feel like I live her now that I can be at event like this and hear my name called from behind me, only to find a friendly face. I am loving Oregon this weekend.
Here's Barb by our very own group sign where we got lots of attention from Passersby.
Right after I took this mediocre picture, these kids went running down the path with their "pets" trotting, nearly galloping behind them. I wish I had got that shot. Really cute.
Here we have Larissa knitting away, as she did all day. Must have been all that time away from the 2 yr old...

My Saturday Night Date
Look, it's Ben again and he's only getting bigger and more handsome. All in all we had a lovely evening while his parents partied for a change. Thing is, he won the poker game which meant that he got to sleep with me on the couch for a while instead of in his crib. Hie doesn't have a poker face, but quite the pleading eyes...
And yes, I'm actually knitting. Not much last night, but I'm working on another shawl, this time in Alpaca from Blue Moon Fiber Arts
The purple vest from last year and the Knitalong socks from Judy that I'm working on with my little local group.

Adopted Greens
This window in my kitchen now houses many plants that I've adopted. They're all in good shape, but living in an apartment, whatever shall I do about tree seedlings, tiny bushes, decorative grasses, etc. Right now there's just nice to look at. And, no I don't have a balcony!
