I love that pink wool-Gill's Socks

I love to look at pink, more than actually wear it I think. I knit these a little tight from some superwash wool I got in Oz.

Koigu Socks in fab colorway-For Gill again

Marcia challenged me when I said I could make a pair of socks out of one skein of Koigu yarn. I keep thinking I should send these to her, but she likes her socks tighter, and I knit these a little loose on size 3 needles.

Marcia brought me back some hand dyed alpaca in autumnal tones this past year at the Stitches Expo in CA. These turned out lovely, paired with another hand dyed wool yarn for elasticity.

Cheryl Oberle's Bookworm Vest in Peruvian wool

I knitted this on the way to Portland. First time i ever made pockets. Hmmmm.
Well, I haven't worn it yet, but I like the styling and am ever so impressed with her "folk vests" book, from which this came.

Okay, so this is me being bored with ribbing...

I was suprised that my little eyelet detail, paired with garter stitch gave so much depth to the design.

I just love the way this fits.
Okay, so it one of those happy accident designs.
I started out too wide and just kept decreasing and decreasing and decreasing. I am really happy with my Boho chic knitted top. If I had planned that it was going to be this involved, I probably would have never started it.

basic burgandy wool with Manos accents

In the second felting of this bag (that I left to the charge of Deb) it got a little smaller than I wanted. Nevertheless, I like the size now and the colors are fun.

Hoodie Tunic Front

I knitted this in Red Heart TLC Amore.
It's kind micrfiber-ish, fluffy.
Actually, it felt great to knit with and my experiment worked.
I do like wearing sleeveless hooded tops!

Cascade 220 socks for those really cold days

Fave yarn. Truly.
Okay, so no kidding. Knitted really densely. Looking forward to wearing them with boots. Oh, by the way, I DO give away lots of socks. It's not like I keep them all for myself!!!!

large felted back with copper, salmon and purples

You can't really see it here, but the fuzzy part in the purple is really metalic copper stuff. BIG bag.

The Princess, Suki Posted by Picasa

My second baby. Always the baby. Little high pitched meow. Big furry 5 toed paws. Sweet and a little simple. Likes to chase anything. (except me...)
